Quick Start

Get up and running with Sunday in just a few minutes.

1. Create an Account

Navigate to http://localhost:3000/signup (opens in a new tab) and create your account:

  1. Enter your name, email, and password
  2. Complete the CAPTCHA verification
  3. Click "Sign Up"
  4. Check your email to verify your account

2. Complete Onboarding

After signing up, you'll be guided through the onboarding process:

  1. Company Information - Enter your company name and size
  2. Your Role - Select your role in the organization
  3. Use Case - Choose how you'll use Sunday
  4. First Workspace - Name your initial workspace

3. Create a Board

Once onboarding is complete:

  1. Navigate to your workspace from the sidebar
  2. Click "Add Board" button
  3. Choose a template or start from scratch
  4. Name your board and click Create

4. Add Groups and Tasks

Organize your board with groups and tasks:

Adding a Group

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the board
  2. Click "+ Add Group"
  3. Enter the group name and pick a color

Adding a Task

  1. Click inside a group where you want to add a task
  2. Type the task name and press Enter
  3. Click on the task to open details and add more information

5. Configure Columns

Customize your board with different column types:

  1. Click the "+" button in the table header
  2. Select a column type (Status, Person, Date, Priority, etc.)
  3. Configure the column settings

Common Column Types

6. Switch Views

Try different views using the view switcher:

  • Table (default) - Spreadsheet-like interface
  • Kanban - Cards organized by status
  • Timeline - Gantt chart view
  • Calendar - Date-based view
  • Dashboard - Charts and analytics
  • Workload - Team capacity view

7. Invite Team Members

Collaborate with your team:

  1. Open your board
  2. Click the "Invite" button
  3. Search for users by email
  4. Select a role (Viewer, Editor, Admin)
  5. Send the invitation
