Quick Start
Get up and running with Sunday in just a few minutes.
1. Create an Account
Navigate to http://localhost:3000/signup (opens in a new tab) and create your account:
- Enter your name, email, and password
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification
- Click "Sign Up"
- Check your email to verify your account
2. Complete Onboarding
After signing up, you'll be guided through the onboarding process:
- Company Information - Enter your company name and size
- Your Role - Select your role in the organization
- Use Case - Choose how you'll use Sunday
- First Workspace - Name your initial workspace
3. Create a Board
Once onboarding is complete:
- Navigate to your workspace from the sidebar
- Click "Add Board" button
- Choose a template or start from scratch
- Name your board and click Create
4. Add Groups and Tasks
Organize your board with groups and tasks:

- Scroll to the bottom of the board
- Click "+ Add Group"
- Enter the group name and pick a color
Adding a Task
- Click inside a group where you want to add a task
- Type the task name and press Enter
- Click on the task to open details and add more information
5. Configure Columns
Customize your board with different column types:
- Click the "+" button in the table header
- Select a column type (Status, Person, Date, Priority, etc.)
- Configure the column settings
Common Column Types
| Type | Use Case |
|---|---|
| Status | Track progress (Done, Working, Stuck) |
| Person | Assign team members |
| Date | Set due dates |
| Priority | Mark importance (Critical, High, Medium, Low) |
| Timeline | Set date ranges |
| Text | Add notes or descriptions |
6. Switch Views
Try different views using the view switcher:
- Table (default) - Spreadsheet-like interface
- Kanban - Cards organized by status
- Timeline - Gantt chart view
- Calendar - Date-based view
- Dashboard - Charts and analytics
- Workload - Team capacity view
7. Invite Team Members
Collaborate with your team:
- Open your board
- Click the "Invite" button
- Search for users by email
- Select a role (Viewer, Editor, Admin)
- Send the invitation
